Swimsuit Picks

This past weekend I went to the beach for spring break and it was such a tease! I'm so ready for summer now because that means more frequent beach and lake trips. We still have a few months to go but that doesn't mean you can't start swimsuit shopping!

For the Ladies

Target is my go-to for affordable swimsuits. I'm usually not a fan of their entire selection but I've found the midi bandeau style tops and string bottoms work well for me! I also love this top and this top. The string bikini bottoms give the perfect amount of coverage and they come in tons of colors and patterns!

Aerie has a great selection and right now all of their swim pieces are buy one get one for $10! I love that their underwire tops go by bra size so you don't have to worry about ordering the wrong size. Their hipster bottoms also have great coverage.

It was hard to pick which one of these Lauren James swimsuits was my favorite! You can find more of these preppy swim pieces here. Message me on Instagram or Twitter for an exclusive discount at Country Club Prep!

For the Guys

I can't vouch for the fit and comfort of these suits but my boyfriend loves his trunks from both of these brands! I will say they definitely look great on. Short inseams are coming back guys and Chubbies and Country Club Prep gotcha covered! Just don't forget the sunscreen when you unleash your blinding, white thighs. Don't forget to ask me about an exclusive discount to Country Club Prep!

Here's my guy modeling the second pair on the beach this weekend!

Happy shopping y'all!

Beauty Favorites

I don't usually spend a lot of money on makeup but I went on a little binge this month. I am absolutely loving these products so I thought I would share them with y'all! All of them are high quality but still affordable. I found them all at Ulta for under $15!

NYX Hydra Touch Primer

I like to wash my face, apply moisturizer and let it sit for a minute before applying primer. This primer is really lightweight and doesn't leave any kind of weird film on your face. It's perfect for the heat and humidity when you don't want to feel like you have a bunch of heavy makeup on! You only need a drop about the size of a pea.

NYX Lip Primer

I'm obviously a huge fan of primers. Primers help your makeup go on smooth, intensify pigments, keeps products from creasing and keeps you from having to re-apply so often! If you've never used lip primer, you will be amazed at how much more vibrant the colors of your lipsticks will look. I usually apply my lip primer and let it sit for a few minutes before applying my lipstick. I'm very pale and have light colored lips so I got the lightest shade- "nude."

NYX Lip Lingerie

This product is a liquid lipstick that dries matte. This is what got me hooked on NYX lip products! I bought one and was back at Ulta the next day to buy another. I had always been scared to try nudes because honestly some of them can make it look like you smeared concealer on your lips. However, if you get the right shade for your skin tone you can totally rock a nude lip. This line of lipsticks has at least one nude tone for every skin tone. I could seriously go on and on about how much I love this product! Pink lipsticks usually look best with my skin tone and both of the shades I have are more pink toned. On the left is "Ruffle Trim." This is a darker nude-pink shade. On the right is "Lace Detail." This one is more of a peachy-nude shade.

This product is also a liquid lipstick that dries matte. It's very similar to the Lip Lingerie. I love this product because it doesn't completely dry your lips out and it stays on for a while before I have to re-apply! The one pictured is the color "San Paulo." This is the one that was featured in my last post. If you're looking for the perfect bright pink for spring this is it!
